    MOYHU’S improvement in the second half of the 2019 season was on full display at Moyhu on Saturday, but one brilliant quarter of football from Tarrawingee snatched the win.

    In a quirk of the match, Tarrawingee won just one quarter of football, booting 6.3 to Moyhu’s 0.2 in the second quarter to take a 35-point lead into half time.

    After half time the Bulldogs just tried to keep pace with their Hopper opponents with the hosts kicking five goals to two in the third term and five goals to three in the last as the reigning premiers held on for a hard fought 11-point win, 15.14 (104) to 14.9 (93).
