    LOCAL police were joined by members of the community for morning tea on Monday to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in celebration of NAIDOC week.

    This year’s NAIDOC week, which stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, will run until this Sunday.

    It gives focus to ‘Voice, Treaty, Truth’, hoping to shine a light on Indigenous culture and move towards a shared future.
