    SEASON 2019/20 looks set to be the start of a new era for the Wangaratta and District Cricket Association with a new president and a largely new-look committee voted in at the league’s annual general meeting.

    Former umpire’s delegate Michael Hurley was voted in as the WDCA’s new president on Wednesday night with James Reilly stepping away after taking on the role after Justin Triffitt departed in January.

    Well known cricketer Wayne Ashton will fill the vice-presidency role, Megan O’Keefe will continue as treasurer after also joining mid-way through last season while Andrea Belci takes the secretary position.
