THERE might still be 12 rounds to go but Wangaratta City’s chances of claiming a long-awaited Albury/Wodonga Football Association league title received a massive boost after another strong weekend for the Red Devils.

Daniel Vasilevski’s men backed up last weekend’s La Fiera Cup win over Myrtleford with a hard fought 1-0 win over Albury City while Savoy fell further behind after a shock 3-0 loss to Boomers FC.

The Red Devils are now four points clear of Myrtleford on top of the table while Boomers are a further three points adrift in fourth.
