THE first stage of repairs to Holy Trinity Cathedral’s Henry Willis and Sons organ has been completed.

Part of the cathedral since 1993, the organ was rendered unplayable last year due to damage caused to its leather bellows by rats, and a funding appeal in recent months has gathered $11,000 for the project.

This figure includes a $5000 donation passed on to the appeal’s coordinator, Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral Ken Goodger, on Wednesday.
