Plans for paediatric specialist clinic to be built on Clark Street

PRIME LAND: Plans are with council to build a paediatric centre on a 920m2 block of land (outlined in red) on Wangaratta’s Clark Street that will allow an existing children’s medical service to move to a more modern facility.

WANGARATTA’S health precinct is making a transformation with a $700,000 paediatric specialist centre proposed for Clark Street near the public hospital.

The centre is currently based in renovated consulting rooms within a former dwelling however with the approval of plans by the Rural City of Wangaratta it will offer “world class” facilities to cater for an expansive client base across the region.

It would be built on a 920m2 vacant block of land that was bought by the applicant recently, providing a service that attends to thousands of client appointments per annum, ranging from new-borns to mature adolescents.
