Susie Reid departs after a memorable 14 years

Lifetime of skills led to WHGNE role

AFTER 14 years as executive officer of Women’s Health Goulburn North East, Susie Reid is preparing to step away from the role.
Described by WHGNE board chair Sarah Noble as “a passionate advocate and strong collaborator…who has consistently demonstrated her drive and commitment to improving the lives of women and girls”, Ms Reid will complete her time with the organisation in June.
In the interim, as she reflects on the enormous achievement of the non-government women’s health promotion agency over those 14 years, Ms Reid said her great pride was in the teamwork displayed by WHGNE in advocating for local women.
“A dedicated team that really wants to see change in women’s lives is the gift they’ve given me,” Ms Reid said
“We all learn from each other all the time, and our voice is based on women’s voices of the Hume region, so that’s where we get our voice from, and we absolutely work on an evidence base.
