    PRIMARY school aged children in Wangaratta have shown vast improvements in their development across the board, from physical abilities to emotional maturity, according to the Australian Early Development Census.

    The census was conducted by the Australian Government across 25 local schools in 2018, looking at the different stages of development children are in during their first year of full-time school.

    The 332 participating children were analysed across five components including, physical health and wellbeing, social competence, emotional maturity, cognitive skills, and communication skills.
