Sporty new features for Mitchell Avenue Reserve

ANOTHER addition to the Mitchell Avenue Reserve Health and Wellbeing Upgrade was officially opened on Monday with six pieces of free, publicly accessible outdoor sporting equipment installed at the park.

Rural City of Wangaratta Council received $18,125 in funding through the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program Round 3 towards the upgrade, which was matched by council.

This project was identified as a priority for the community during the community consultation following the closure of the Yarrunga Pool and has been included as part of the masterplan.
