    BRIGHT EYES: Computers, mobile phones, televisions, and gaming could be the reasons why some young people are not getting enough sleep.

    ORGANISATIONS connected to education and youth services will compile a strategy to help teenagers get more sleep following results from a university profile of Wangaratta schools.

    A survey of 900 students who go to school in Wangaratta unearthed data that some are only getting six hours of sleep a night, two less than the minimum eight hours required to function properly.

    Conducted by Dr Tan-Chyuan Chin, a senior research fellow and director of the well-being profiler at The University of Melbourne, the survey highlighted other topics of analysis including poor exercise habits, emotional regulation, relationships, and family.
