FOR Wangaratta’s Tania Hardman and her two sons, Asher and Cooper, picking up rubbish has become a habit, ensuring the future of the environment.

The Hardman family joined more than 85 people of all ages at the Yarrunga Scout Hall to pick up rubbish along One Mile Creek as part of the Rural City of Wangaratta’s Clean Up Australia Day event on Monday night.

“I have two of my sons in the Wangaratta Cub Scouts and every year we do Clean Up Australia Day… it’s one of the funs things on our calendar,” Ms Hardman said.
