• Cyclists’ 500km charity ride to end in city today

    LOCAL cyclists are due to return to Wangaratta today from a 500km ride over the mountains to Omeo and back, all in the name of charity.

    Participants in the 2019 High Country Charity Ride have collectively raised more than $40,000, most of which is being donated to the Tour de Cure.

    A special donation of $12,000 to Oxley man Jason Ryan was made by the team of cyclists this year towards his cause, Von Hippel Lindau disease, which is a form of cancer.
