LEADING trainer Rob Hickmott will be aiming for a second Wangaratta Cup in three years on Sunday when he saddles up veteran stayer Amralah in the Wangaratta Racing, Food and Wine Carnival’s main event.

Hickmott, a former Wangaratta Rovers footballer and trainer for Lloyd Williams, secured his first Wangaratta Cup in 2017 with Our Century saluting, but didn’t have a runner last year.

The nine-year-old will take on a star-studded field that includes elite level horses such as Killarney Kid, Call Me Handsome, Self Sense and Here To There.
