    A STATE of the art hop facility, Australia’s first food-grade processing hop plant, has miraculously risen from the ashes on a site left devastated by a massive fire less than 12 months ago.

    Ellerslie Hop Australia celebrated the official opening of their newly built $10.5 million processing and storage facility in Myrrhee yesterday, which was finished on budget and just in time for the 2019 harvest.

    Third generation hop farmer and company managing director Greg Croke said he was delighted to be back in business and humbled by the support he’d received from the community in the wake of the fire on April 6 last year.
