    PATTI Bulluss is calling for people power to ensure the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues celebrates its 30th birthday this year.

    The former festival board chair, one of five people who devised the event three decades ago, said she was “dumbfounded” when she read in last Friday’s Wangaratta Chronicle about the current board’s plans to take a break this year for a total festival re-think, before marking the anniversary in 2020.

    “To me, the festival is 30 years old this year, and it has to be celebrated this year,” Mrs Bulluss said.
