    WITH speculation surrounding the readiness of North Wangaratta Recreation Reserve for its round one clash, the Ovens and King league and the council have confirmed that the Hawks’ return to their home ground will take place on March 30.

    Three seasons and just over four years since the Hawks were locked out of their ground, the OKFNL said in a media release that the facilities and oval will be fit enough to host a round one match.

    The media release said: “THE WAW Credit Union Ovens and King Football Netball League is pleased to announce that after discussions with the Rural City of Wangaratta, that we expect the North Wangaratta Recreation Reserve oval and surrounding facilities to be ready for match play come round one.
