WITH just two days to go until Hayden Sampson and his friends gather in the King George V Gardens for an event designed to raise awareness about testicular cancer, the disease the 15 year old Galen Catholic College student is currently receiving treatment for, big name sports stars are also putting up their hands to help.

Along with signed jumpers from the Richmond and Sydney Swans football clubs, a signed Cleveland jersey from Matthew Dellavedova, and football boots and a jumper from Melbourne Football Club’s Tom McDonald, there is also now a pair of shoes from Nick Kyrgios, a pair of shorts from Dane Swan and jumpers from Demon Charlie Spargo and Western Bulldog Shane Biggs.

“And there is more coming today,” said event organiser, Noah Campbell, who will be among about nine friends to shave their heads on Sunday in a show of solidarity with Hayden, who has just started to lose his own curly locks as a side effect of recent treatment.
