Sparkling boost to tourism

King Valley Prosecco Road can capitalise on funding

LOCAL industry group Wines of the King Valley says the latest injection of funds announced by government in support of its Prosecco Road campaign will help bring more international tourists to the King Valley.

The wine region is one of the five in the state to share the benefits of a $2 million funding boost announced jointly by federal and state governments last week.

Wines of the King Valley executive and marketing officer Alison Lloyd said growers were delighted to welcome the investment designed to develop and promote wine tourism.
