Co-coaches for Whorouly

WHOROULY has followed the growing trend of a number of country football clubs of recent times by appointing co-coaches for the 2019 Ovens and King season.

Jakeb Meyer, who coached the Lions this season after crossing from Rutherglen, will remain for a second season but will be joined in the top role for next year by Ben Kneebone.

Kneebone, a former long-time Wangaratta Rovers player, joined the Lions as a player this season and made an instant impact, winning the senior best and fairest despite missing a number of games with a hamstring injury.
