Customer service performance only blemish on local council scorecard

A WOMAN living in urban Wangaratta aged between 18 and 34 is the most likely demographic to slam council’s performance in the customer service stakes during 2018, according to a newly released survey.

A Community Satisfaction Survey is a report compiled every 12 months statewide, providing feedback on how councils are performing across various departments.

But while Wangaratta council’s customer service score was down a massive seven points on 2017 figures, overall performance increased and other areas remained near the status quo in 2018.
