    DEVELOPMENT of a hydrotherapy pool as part of a multi-million dollar Wangaratta Indoor Sports and Aquatic Centre revamp will be worth the wait, according to Gateway Health community inclusion team leader Simone Kluckow.

    A $1.5 million State Government grant for a second hydrotherapy pool at the Barr Reserve centre was announced in 2016, but the Rural City of Wangaratta put the project on hold while waiting for an outcome on its $4.4 million Federal Government funding application for a 50m solar-heated pool, which was announced on Tuesday.

    Tenders encompassing all works will now be sought, allowing the hydro pool project to move forward.
