    SERVICED apartments, a Dan Murphy’s store, and potentially community housing are part of a planned $18 million development on the site of the former Wangaratta Plaza.

    The site, which formerly housed an IGA supermarket and bottle shop, a butchery, bakery and other stores, was purchased in February last year by investment group Key Capital Limited, which also owns the Parfitt Road Homemaker Centre.

    Key Capital Limited is expected to lodge a planning application this week for its proposed Dan Murphy’s store, which will be developed along Baker Street.
