KIM Michelini’s Ovens and King open age side boasts an incredible array of versatile youth and experienced players in one of the more dynamic teams of past seasons before taking on the Hume League tomorrow.
All of the named players have the ability to play multiple positions and play them well.
Seven clubs are represented with the squad as follows: Taylah Reidy (Greta), Sarah Bond, Nellie Purches, Lauren Flynn (Tarrawingee), Ebony Allen (Whorouly), Destanie Crispo, Grace Patterson (King Valley), Alyse Hedin (Milawa), Amelia Skilbeck (Goorambat) and Lesha Hogan (Bright).
Michelini is optimistic of her side’s prospects.
“We are all about gelling as a team, we can’t play like individuals,” she said.
“With the versatility we have, we have shooters that can play at either end of the court, we have defenders that can shoot and then go through the midcourt.
