    SLOW RESPONSE: Tim McCurdy (MLA, Ovens Valley) says the EPA's tardiness is to blame for long absence of play at North Wangaratta Recreation Reserve.

    OVENS Valley politician Tim McCurdy says he will plead his innocence in court next month following charges laid by Victoria Police on Tuesday.

    The 55 year old Cobram man was charged with four counts of making a false document, four counts of use a false document, attempt to obtain property by deception and obtain property by deception.

    The charges relate to an investigation into a 2009 alleged fraud when Mr McCurdy was a real estate agent.

    Mr McCurdy says he is innocent of the allegations.
