That is all that separated Anna Pasquali from a Wangaratta Gift win on Saturday night.
Racing took an hour and 20 minute break due to lightning in the area with a revised race schedule set up in that time, and forcing athletes off the main arena.
The delay didn’t bother Pasquali as she leapt out of the blocks from a 10 metre handicap.
My aims were to make the final in both races (120m Gift and 400m open) so that was better than what I expected,” Pasquali said.
“To make the final and lose by a couple of centimetres was a great result for me, I just needed an extra 10 metres to chase her down.”
