ANNA Pasquali’s win at Stawell last year means she will be running off 25 metres, but she is still showing her legendary competitiveness on the eve of the Wangaratta Sports Carnival.

Pasquali will compete in the women’s open 400 metres and 120 metre women’s Gift race.

“I am racing well off the sprint distance and I am comfortable off my handicap so I am hoping to do well,” Pasquali said.

“I just missed out on the Castlemaine 120 metre final; it takes me a while to get into good sprint form nowadays.
