• Lorraine keeps active with membership

    ALWAYS LEARNING: Lorraine Crellin has worked hard to keep the Wangaratta district informed about all things U3A since she started in her role as publicity officer a year ago. PHOTO: Kylie Wilson

    AS the saying goes, you learn something new every day.

    That is especially true for Lorraine Crellin, Wangaratta University of the Third Age’s (U3A) publicity officer.

    Lorraine entered the position twelve months ago after she fell in love with the group following six months of exhilarating education.

    As publicity officer, she is responsible for making sure the community are aware of the group and what it offers.

    “I really enjoy the friendship at U3A and the fact I’m still learning,” she said.

    “Since starting, I have participated in economics, Italian, mah-jong and more than traveller’s tales.”
