A FOUR month search for a senior netball coach has been in vain, but Glenrowan Football Netball Club vice president Andrew Snowdon is hopeful the search is close to completion.
Snowdon has been a member of the Glenrowan FNC committee for a number of years and has two daughters who play netball at the Tigers.
He moved into the vice presidency in October 2017, and since then he has been on the hunt for a new senior coach to oversee the Tigers’ A and B grade netball sides for 2018.
The netball club has seen a number of players from 2017 leave for various reasons; having moved away from the region, started families, retired, or left to try their hand at Ovens and Murray level.
In all, Snowdon said he has directly spoken to 15 potential coaches to no avail.
“It is a big commitment to coach,” Snowdon said.
