BENALLA All Blacks have ensured their rise up the Ovens and King ladder will not be a flash in the pan, with the club re-signing head coach Harry Moran for the 2018 season.
Moran was just 21 years old when handed the reins of a club that was coming off a winless season in 2015, and had been victorious just four times in three years.
In his first season at the helm Moran guided the Panthers to five wins and a number of narrow losses to eventual finalists.
But year number two has seen Benalla surge to a 12-1 record after 13 rounds, putting the club on pace to achieve its most successful season since joining the O&K.
Moran, 23, said his decision to commit to the club for another year was an easy one.
“When the club approached me with the contract, it was a no-brainer for me, really,” he said.
