New Dogs let off the leash

TARRAWINGEE fans will have to wait until at least round two to get their first look at a couple of home grown stars in Hugh and Jack Amery.

But the Bulldogs certainly won’t be short on talent, with boom recruits Xavier Norden, Justin Hoggan, Tim Aumann, Lachie Raven, Luke Griffen and Dave Thayer all set to line up against King Valley at the Kennel tomorrow.

Coach Trevor Edwards said there was plenty of excitement within the group, with the new batch of Bulldogs set to take the team to the next level.

“All of the new guys have been really impressive,” Edwards said.

“That’s the reason we went after guys like Xavier Norden, Justin Hoggan, Dave Thayer and Tim Aumann in the first place.

“The leadership and experience they bring to the club is outstanding, and every one of them has already had a significant impact on the group.”
