AFTER a thumping 8-0 win to open the Albury Wodonga Football Association season, assistant coach Mario Antonello is expecting a far tougher contest when Wangaratta City takes on Albury City this Sunday.
The Red Devils started 2017 in blistering fashion, but no one at the club is getting ahead of themselves given the round one win was against competition cellar dwellers Wodonga Heart.
Antonello said Albury City would provide a far sterner test.
“This one is going to be the other end of the scale,” he said.
“Albury City made the grand final last year, and they are a team we rate very highly.
“They are coming off a loss to Melrose last week, but if anything that just tells us to be very wary of Melrose this year.
