AFTER a dream debut for Carlton in round one of the inaugural AFL Women’s season, Darcy Vescio is aiming for a repeat performance when the Blues take on Greater Western Sydney tomorrow.
Vescio’s four-goal blitz buried Collingwood in the season opener last Friday night, with the Magpies managing just one major for the match as the Blues got up by 35 points.
The star forward said she couldn’t have scripted a better way to kick off the year.
“I felt like I had a pretty good grasp on things out on the field,” Vescio said.
“Whether the ball was on the ground or in the air, I just made it my priority to get my hands on it and use it well.
