LOCAL youngsters Imogen and Maddie Rea – and their mother Katrina – are among excited Wangaratta families looking forward to enjoying all the fun of the Wangaratta Show this morning.
Katrina remembers having fun spending her pocket money at the show when she was a girl, and in recent years she has enjoyed sharing the experience with her young daughters.
And now that she is older, she also sees the importance of the community attending and being involved with the show.
For daughters Imogen (2) and Maddie (5), that will be buying showbags, seeing farm animals and enjoying child friendly rides.
Katrina said she is also keen to check out the various pavilion displays.
Show organisers are hoping for good crowds this weekend, with good weather forecasts today and tomorrow.
Wangaratta Agricultural Society secretary Bev Tiffin encouraged members of the public to come and enjoy the show.
It is on at the Wangaratta Showgrounds today from 9am-9pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm.
