THE crowd at the 2016 Wangaratta Show on October 6 and 7 will be treated to an adrenaline-fuelled, thrill-seeking mini-bike show by the boys from Whip Industries.
Performed on Kawasaki KLX110L motorbikes (designed for children aged 8-13 years) mere metres from the crowd, the aerial acrobatics have impressed crowds for many years.
The tight-knit group of five have been performing together for seven years, and actually began back at their own hometown agricultural show.
“Grandad was on the show committee and they were looking for a new act, something exciting and different,” said Whip Industries manager Travis Whitten, who also performs with the act.
“We were keen to take our motocross bikes and provide some entertainment, maybe by doing some monos and that sort of thing, but when we checked out the grounds there just wasn’t enough space.”
Little did the boys know that the lack of space would be their blessing, paving the way for a future in entertainment.
