MURRAY Waite is pursuing his dream.
The fleet-footed midfielder has revealed he will be suiting up for West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League for the foreseeable future.
Eighteen-year-old Waite made the decision last week and has since been sorting things out with his new club and left for his new life in Adelaide yesterday.
“I made the decision late last week, so it has all moved pretty fast,” Waite said.
I still haven’t sorted out where I will be staying but there are two new recruits coming from Mildura, who are in the same boat not knowing anyone, so I’ll be looking to jump in with them.
“Dad is coming with me for the first week and it will be good to have him there until I sort out a house and settle in.”
Murray Bushrangers runner up best and fairest, Waite originally had trials with Werribee, Coburg, Casey and North Ballarat in the Victorian Football League.
