A FRIENDLY international rules game between the Myrtleford Savoy Soccer Club and the King Valley Football Netball Club will be held on February 13.

King Valley football coach Hayden Murray said an international rules game is something he had been contemplating for a while now.

“I am good mates with Jayden Vescio, Savoy’s coach,” Murray said.

“I had this thought for a while, to play an international rules match so I asked Jayden what he thought about it.

“He liked the idea and we got the ball rolling trying to get it organised.”

Murray said the game is a reward for the players that have been training with the club during preseason.

The match will be free to attend, and will start at 6pm at Savoy’s home ground.
