    NICE KNOCK: Lucky Perera made 99 not out last week

    ROVERS United Bruck overcame a balanced Delatite bowling attack to reach all out for 187 runs.

    The Hawks batted for 72 overs and posted their highest two-day match total of the season despite Delatite’s best efforts with four bowlers taking multiple wickets.

    Delatite bowlers Matt Stevenson (3/50), Patrick Marks (2/2), Lachlan Millen (2/33) and Nathan Purcell (2/56) all contributed to slowing the Rovers United Bruck juggernaut.

    Stevenson especially who bowled 29 overs for 12 maidens at an economy rate of 1.7 runs per over.

    Lucky Perera hit out for an unbeaten 99 runs, hitting nine boundaries which steadied the Hawks through the middle order.

    Perera and Adrian Speziale (16 runs) posted a 52 run partnership for the fifth wicket.

    Hawks co-captain Jeremy Wilson said the boys lifted when they needed to last week.
