Section one:

WANG Lawn had to overcome the heat and a dogged Corowa Blue to gain the points on Saturday.

The result was still in doubt as the last set was being played out, luckily Steve ‘the Cheeseman’ Russell and Sally Rodgers didn’t know the state of play as they continued to hit out and gained the six games necessary to give Lawn the win.

Section two:

OLD rivals Everton and Myrrhee provided the close match in section two, Everton winning 6-81 to Myrrhee 6-68.

Noel Kneebone proved that age is no barrier winning three sets.

Section three:

BRAGGING rights and top spot on the ladder belonged to Wahgunyah Black after it defeated Wahgunyah Gold on Saturday.

Jake Goddard, Dylan Hewitt, Rob Hill and Josh Kemp (Black) gained an early advantage over Gold’s Jake Boyle, Cilla Hill, Travis Rees and Raylene Finnemore and never surrendered that lead, winning 4-40 to 2-32.
