Chefs unite for Charlie

SUPER CHARLIE BROTHERS: Chefs Adam Rivett, Peter Hoppach and Ben Bonwick are combining their talents for a Superhero Fundraising Lunch to support the appeal for Oxley toddler Charlie Ciavarella.

THREE of the district’s most popular chefs are combining their culinary skills to help fundraise for Oxley toddler Charlie Ciavarella, who has been undergoing lifesaving treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Adam Rivett (Milawa Bread and previously head chef at Brown Brothers), Peter Hoppach (Cellar 47 and Milawa Muscat Retreat) and Ben Bonwick (King River Cafe) will hold a Help Charlie Superhero Fundraising Lunch at the Oxley Shire Hall from noon on Sunday, September 27.

The menu includes a soup and corn slider, roast pork and vegetables and chocolate mousse.

For the younger diners under eight years old there will be sausage and dessert.

There will also be a jumping castle, face painting, balloons and entertainment by the Bush Telegraph Music Band.

Cost is $25 for adults with kids under eight free – contact Milawa Bread on 5798 3480 for tickets.
