IF Cathy McGowan (MHR, Indi) seeks re-election then she would run her own campaign.

Voice for Indi was the driving force behind Ms McGowan’s successful 2013 election campaign, supporting Ms McGowan throughout the election after she was endorsed by the group she was also a founding member of.

“I’m sure many Voices for Indi members would support Cathy but they would be doing it as part of Cathy’s campaign, not as part of Voices for Indi,” Voices president, Alana Johnson told The Chronicle.

Voices for Indi plans to be around for a long time to come and Ms Johnson said it was sticking to one of its original aims in engaging more people in the political process.
