BRUCK will be hoping key players get time in the middle against Rovers United this Saturday in what’s shaping as a one-sided contest.

Currently sitting third on the ladder and coming up against the last placed Rovers outfit, Bruck vice captain Jeremy Wilson said his team would not be looking ahead to finals.

“Rovers made 200 last week so they’ve shown they can be competitive,” he said.

“Ryan Nankervis generally makes a few runs against us so we’d be hoping to get him out early.

“Schona (Jacob Schonafinger) likes to throw the bat so we’d need to get him pretty early on as well.”

Evergreen all rounder Jon Hyde belted 91 and took six wickets in Bruck’s last outing while veteran Darren Peterson carved out 28, showing signs his form might be about to come good at the business end of the season.
