ROUND four of Shannons Nationals hits Winton Motor Raceway from today, with six categories all battling for championship points.

A category rich with history, the Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Cars is set to be a crowd-pleaser yet again, with discontinued models from the V8 Supercar Championship Series eligible to compete.

Albury’s Matt Chahda will look to apply pressure to his fellow competitors as he sits fourth in the championship in an ex-Britek Motorsport Ford BA Falcon driven by Jason Bright.

While in the Dial Before You Dig Australian Super Six Touring Car Series, Euroa’s Glen Postlethwaite will make his national racing debut in his Holden VT Commodore.

The 18-year-old helped build the car from scratch with his father, and will face 30-lap races on Saturday and Sunday respectively which will feature compulsory pit stops for each driver.

Carrying a home track advantage, Postlethwaite was the 2013 BP Midland/Pedders ‘No Bull’ Winton Sprint Series junior class champion.
