IF you’re not fully in, then you’re out – there are no half-measures at King Valley.

In a move that is sure to please opposition clubs, Roos coach Brendan Sessions has effectively ruled out the return of gun forward Stuart Cooper to the club.

Cooper’s signing earlier in the year created quite a stir, and not a week has gone by in the past month without rumblings from around the league of his imminent appearance in the blue and white stripes.

But Sessions said that was now increasingly unlikely.

“I’ve kind of hit that nail on the head,” Sessions said.

“He was keen to come in and play the last three games and then play finals, but I’m not interested in that.”

It’s a strong stance from Sessions, who also dropped Hayden Sims to the reserves for the past three matches after the livewire midfielder revealed he would be heading overseas until just before finals.
