YOUNG gun Micaela Larkings has committed to a surprise return to North Wangaratta in Ovens and King netball, as the Hawks prepare to take on Bright tomorrow.

After spending the previous two seasons playing A grade for North Wangaratta, Larkings this year made the switch to Ovens and Murray side Wangaratta Rovers, but has now returned to her former club.

Although North Wangaratta coach Kidd didn’t wish to comment on the reasons surrounding Larkings’ return, she said she was 100 per cent happy with the new addition to her side.

“She’s been a handy pick up for us, and has really strengthened our midcourt,” she said.

“We didn’t have much rotation in the midcourt, but having her in the side has enabled us to do so.

“She’s quite a strong player, and the girls are adjusting with the change, which has been impressive.”
