Dees, Dogs stepping up

JUST plain scary.

No other words can quite sum up just how well O&K superpowers Milawa and Tarrawingee are going at the moment.

The Demons produced arguably the performance of the season to date on Saturday, demolishing reigning premier North Wangaratta by 122 points.

Meanwhile the Bulldogs put an abrupt halt to Greta’s three-match winning streak, crushing the Blues by 153 points.

It was another stellar showing from hard nut Carl Groth that sparked the Dees, with the muscular midfielder in everything, dominating the clearances as well as going forward to boot four goals in his third straight best on ground performance, and fifth overall from eight games.

Jack Stamp was also sensational, racking up plenty of touches in the middle and slotting six majors during some brief spells in attack.
