KING Valley’s premiership chances look set to be boosted even further after coach Brendan Sessions revealed former star Stuart Cooper was likely to return to the club.

KING Valley’s premiership chances look set to be boosted even further after coach Brendan Sessions revealed former star Stuart Cooper was likely to return to the club this season.

The Roos have been chasing Cooper for a number of years but look to have finally convinced the key forward to return to his home club.

It is not yet clear when Cooper will line up for King Valley but Waratahs have already approved his clearance back to the Roos.

Sessions said he was hopeful of having Cooper available as soon as possible.

“We’re still working that out,” he said.

“Hopefully he gets here very soon.”
