WORKING: Mayor Rozi Parisotto has responded to union anger.

COUNCIL’S chief executive officer, Doug Sharp, is again on sick leave, after returning to his job for a week.

All staff were told the news on Friday.

It came as Mayor, Rozi Parisotto, responded to criticism levelled at her by the Australian Services Union (ASU), telling the Chronicle she was upset staff were unwell.

“I’m really upset we have staff who are unwell,” Cr Parisotto said.

“I wish they could recover and get back to work.

“My focus is on the wellbeing of the organisation and I look forward to everyone coming back so we can work as a team.”
