WANGARATTA Rovers champion Stacey Emms will tick off another milestone in her impressive career on Sunday when she makes her 150th appearance for the Hawks.
After joining the Hawks from Goulburn Valley league club Benalla in 2005, Emms has gone on to become of the club’s all time greats.
To go with her 150 games, Emms has won two league best and fairest awards, two club best and fairests, played in the 2005 and 2007 premiership teams, represented the Ovens and Murray while recently being selected in the O&M Team of the Decade (2003-12).
The mid-court specialist admitted this week that time had flown since her debut.
“It doesn’t feel like it’s been that many,” she said.
“It’s gone really fast.
“But it’s a great club and that makes you want to stay around for as long as I have.”
