NED Kelly’s remains will be buried at Greta after family descendants agreed on funeral details, including a full Catholic mass.

Melbourne based barrister Trevor Monti, on behalf of Wangaratta solicitor John Suta, helped Kelly and King family descendants work out the details with Attorney General Robert Clark during a three hour long meeting on Monday.

It was decided his body will be laid to rest at either Greta Cemetery, where his mother Ellen and brother James are buried, or on private land within the to wn.

Mr Suta said a full Catholic mass and the organisation of which individual family members would do the readings at the private service were confirmed.
