VCE exams beckon for hundreds of our teens

THOUSANDS of Victorian year 12 students will begin their VCE exams tomorrow in the last chapter of their secondary schooling.

Some 140 Wangaratta High School (WHS), 122 Galen Catholic College and 17 Cathedral College students will sit their English exam from 9am.

In preparation teachers have given students all the tools to counter stress levels, cope with workloads and revise everything they’ve learnt in 2012.

WHS year 12 coordinator Jenni Hopkins said the school has given students all the help they need ahead of exams.

“Tutorials have been run, students have been coming in before and after school and teacher support has been there,” she said.

“It has been a full year of preparation in the lead up to the event and the students have increased their focus in the last few weeks.”
